🔧 PS5 BYPASS WITH CRONUS ZEN
For the DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers.
❗ IMPORTANT: before you start, your controller must already be paired with your PS5 over Bluetooth.
1️⃣ PREPARING THE PS5
1. Turn on Bluetooth on your PS5. 2. Connect your DualSense or DualSense Edge to the console over Bluetooth. 3. Go to the menu below and set Communication Method to “Use USB Cable”.
PATH: SETTINGS → ACCESSORIES → CONTROLLER (GENERAL)
2️⃣ TURN OFF ACCESSORIES
PATH: SETTINGS → ACCESSORIES → GENERAL → TURN OFF ACCESSORIES
Go into “Turn Off Accessories” just once.
⚠️ WARNING: this is what's different from the old bypass: this step matters for the bypass to work.
3️⃣ DOING THE BYPASS
1. Fully unplug your Cronus Zen: it must not be connected to anything. 2. Plug your DualSense / DualSense Edge into the Cronus Zen's A1 port. 3. Hold RIGHT ➡️ on the D-pad. 4. While holding ➡️, connect the Cronus Zen to the PS5 using the CONSOLE port. 5. Keep the button held down until the on-screen animations stop. 6. Once the connection is made, you can let go of the right button.
💡 TIP: make sure the Cronus Zen is on the ZEN screen during the procedure, not on a script's screen.
⚠️ BYPASS STILL NOT WORKING?
First, redo the whole procedure in order, step by step, without skipping any.
If it still doesn't work, check your USB cables next. A cable can charge a controller or a phone perfectly well without properly transferring the data the Cronus Zen needs: lots of cables made mainly for charging phones cause problems.
Make sure that: - the cables are in good condition; - the connectors don't have a loose contact; - the cables actually transfer data, not just power; - the cables are suitable for the Cronus Zen and the connected devices.
💡 TIP: if in doubt, try another USB data cable that you know transfers data properly.
📌 REMEMBER: before looking for a problem in the script or the Cronus Zen, always redo the full procedure in order, then check the controller's Bluetooth connection and the cables you're using.
